I started oil painting in 2019, just a few months before the COVID-19 pandemic swept the world, and quickly found it to be an engaging and meaningful creative practice during a heavy time of life. I love how painting challenges me to always keep learning, and gives me space to explore life with curiosity, color, and joy.
My work is inspired by my love of nature and the mountains, and I enjoy painting en plein air, as well as referencing photographs I have taken while hiking and adventuring outdoors on my own or with my family.
