Art Genre: oil and other painting

Makayla Larkins has been creating art since she was a toddler, drawing her first masterpiece on her parents’ brand-new leather couch. Now she is a student at the University of Utah majoring in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Painting and Drawing. While she has enjoyed various mediums from sculpture to photography, painting has always been her favorite.

 Some of her artistic experiences have included being her high school’s Student Body Art Officer and Visual Arts Sterling Scholar, working with nonprofits, designing apparel, selling customs art pieces, teaching classes, participating in and curating shows.
