Art Genre: Oil Painting

Art is a way to stop and see the beauty that is around us. A way to calm down and try to catch the shapes - colors, even a mood, like time in a bottle. Painting and drawing have always been a part of my identity. From a young age, I was interested in creating art. Art classes always filled my elective choices in school. As my children grew, I enrolled at Salt Lake Community College and earned a degree in Illustration and Graphic Design. I have also been able to study privately with some exceptional Utah Artists - Susan Gallacher, Kamille Corry, John Poon and Kathryn Stats. I am a member of the Midway Arts Association and display my art at the Midway Art Gallery twice a year.
