Emily Carruth Fuller began her passion for art at a young age while raised in a home that nurtured imagination and creativity. This foundation carried her to study as an art scholarship recipient at Brigham Young University where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She achieved a life-long dream by studying abroad in Italy and followed that adventure with a 2 ½ year apprenticeship program under the instruction of Jeff Hein, studying a rigorous and classical approach to painting and drawing. With her studies informing her work she opened her own studio in 2009. She now resides in Draper, Utah where she currently creates and teaches. Her award winning paintings often explore themes of relationships and spirituality. Emily strives to add meaning to the lives of those who view her work and for those who spend time in her studio.
