Art Genre: Oil Painting

Born in Cuba, my family immigrated to the US in 1959 when I was five. Throughout my childhood, I loved art and found myself drawn to shapes, color, design and texture leading me to study Fine Arts at Columbus College of Art and Design. There I majored in Fine Arts studying anatomy, sculpture, painting and the Master's techniques. After a number of years working as an Art Director, I have returned to my true passion of oil painting.

Living in Utah, I love nothing more than being in nature where my spirit feels most at peace. Taking a scene and making it come alive on canvas is simply inspiring.

It’s so rewarding to see or hear the joy that a finished piece brings to people...
